About me

My name is Mikhail Belinson. I am a certified hypnotist, hypnotherapist, actor, film and theatre director, and acting coach.

I have always been fascinated by the connection between the body and the mind. Over the years, I have trained over 200 actors and helped them unlock their creativity and presence. I have studied how inspiration can come from movement, thoughts, memories, or small triggers. I’ve also learned many methods and worked with talented people to understand how we move from conscious technique to unconscious creative states.

For the last six years, I have focused on hypnosis, NLP, and coaching. The more I learn about these methods, the more I realise they are similar to what I have been working with my whole life. The same processes – inside-out and outside-in – that help an actor create a new character can also help anyone who wants to make a change in their life. Hypnosis, metaphorical stories, the sound of a voice, and images created on our inner screens, can influence the unconscious mind, help break limitations, reprogram old patterns, and create the change we truly desire – both within ourselves and in our surroundings.

I offer my services both online and in person at my clinic in Alken, Denmark. I can speak and work with you in Danish, English, Ukrainian, or Russian if needed.

F.A.Q.

Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy- Why It’s so powerful?

The unconscious mind stores memories, emotions, and beliefs that can shape behaviour without conscious awareness. Understanding it can be valuable for therapy and personal growth. Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to access the unconscious mind and create positive changes. Hypnosis is a purely natural state that allows direct access to the subconscious mind, where our learned behaviour pattern-making systems reside. With hypnosis then, we can bypass what would require a prolonged or circuitous re-learning program in our fully conscious state.

Hypnotherapy is effective for:

Anxiety and panic attacks. Fear of public speaking. Phobias. Depression. Low self-esteem. Difficulty concentrating Insomnia. Migraines. Addictions. Weight management. Pain control and much more.

How does hypnosis work?

There are several theories about how hypnosis works, but no single definitive explanation. Some believe it works by triggering brainwave activity similar to the REM sleep state, which allows access to the subconscious mind. In the hypnotic state, you are deeply relaxed. Your conscious mind is quiet, allowing your unconscious mind to deeply focus on your issue. Hypnosis is a state of intensified attention while being in a perfectly relaxed and meditative state. In this state, suggestions can take effect on the unconscious mind which creates incredibly fast positive changes within the client.

 How does hypnosis feel?

The experience varies from person to person. Some feel a floating sensation, while others don’t. Some may feel drowsy, while others remain fully alert. Most people simply feel relaxed and comfortable. The most important thing to know is that how you feel is not an indicator of how effective it is.

What if I don’t „go deep‟ enough?

Don’t worry about how deep you go—just let go of that concern. It’s not important. The depth of your trance is not linked to results at all. So, don’t get stuck thinking, “Am I deep enough?” Instead, tell yourself the truth—‟This is working‟—and it absolutely will. Just trust the process.

Will I remember what happened in hypnosis?

Yes, you will remember what you experienced during hypnosis.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

No, you cannot get stuck in hypnosis! That’s a myth. You are in full control at all times.

When will I start seeing changes?

There are three types of change, and each person experiences them differently:

·      Immediate: You feel a massive shift right away—instant changes in your physiology, thoughts, and behavior during the session.

·      Incremental: You notice consistent shifts every day or over time.

·      Retroactive: You don’t notice the changes immediately, but one day you look back and realize how much has changed.

Are you at the point where you realise that your behaviour is holding you back, and are you ready to change it?
Being on the threshold is wanting change within yourself.
If you are trying to change because others
like your spouse, friends, and coworkers are pressuring you,
then you are not on the threshold.
It is you, who must truly want and desire the change and improvement in your life.

Simone Van hagen

Mikhail really helped and guided me to overcome a certain fear. Before, I used to get thrown off by certain sensations I felt, which made me overthink and only made things worse. But now, I can stay calm. As a result, my body feels much more relaxed too—and that feels amazing.

Mikhail is a professional and he asks the right questions, and makes you feel comfortable right away. Thank you so much, Mikhail—I’m truly grateful!
